ULTra – Urban Light Transit, Sustainable Transit

ULTra is a new type of sustainable personal transport system and is on process of deployment in Europe.
ULTra is the nickname for “Urban Light Transit” and this is classified as a PRT “Personal Rapid Transit”. It’s like a tiny electric car that works with battery, with capacity for 4-person per vehicle, travels on exclusive “trails”, faraway the cars, and mainly from the congestion.
Developed by ATS “Advanced Transport Systems”, together with BAA, that a manages the London Airport, the ULTra is already on the final building process and promisses to revolutionize the way how the users of London airport are transported. The video above, shows how the system will work.
